The backbone of our crisis communication programs is the Media Skills™ media training methodology developed over 15 years ago and used successfully by hundreds of organizations in Australasia and the United States. We encourage all our clients to undertake some basic skill building in general media interview training before embarking on any of the rigorous crisis training programs.
Working with Principal, Jane Jordan-Meier, a Master Trainer or associates in the Media Skills™ Network – all former journalists and trained trainers - you will learn how to navigate the complex world of the media.

- Managing the Media – signature spokesperson program. This is designed for company spokespeople. A hands-on practical workshop with easy to use and remember formula, participants learn everything to successfully and effectively manage a media interview.
- Maximizing the Media – a fast-paced workshop for those with media experience who want or need to accelerate their media interview skills or to perfect a technique. Small groups over 4-5 hours.
- Refreshers – we encourage annual refreshers to keep skills up to date, essential for any spokesperson who is regularly in touch with the media.
- Executive Coaching and Training – typically one-on-one for CEO/President level or the key company spokesperson. Highly customized, individual coaching is intensive. Ideal to work on special interview techniques, perfecting the sound-bite or to prepare for that high-stakes presentation. The best results come from a three-part program.
- Message Development - words matter when the stakes are high! This workshop takes you through a rigorous process to come up with the right message. This workshop can also be used to "road-test" messages prior to an important company announcement.

“Without a doubt, Jane’s intelligent, insightful and energetic approach to training ensures executives benefit greatly from her workshops and are well prepared for the rigors of tough and probing media interviews. While there are many who claim to be media trainers, Jane’s particular flair is in working with executives who are dealing with highly contentious issues that threaten the brand and reputation of their organizations, and possibly themselves.” Robyn Sefiani, Managing Director Sefiani Communications Group
